About this site

This site is primarily used to record our stories and experiences, so in years to come when our memory starts to fail us, we will have a collection of stories that will hopefully jog our memory.

For you to know us a little better, we are two Aussies who made the decision in 2021 to uproot our Bris Vegas lifestyle, sell our 110 year old workers cottage in the inner city suburb of Red Hill, Queensland. We packed our worldly possessions, including our much loved rehomed stray cat, Tom and RSPCA adopted Blue Healer Cattle dog, named Perro to start afresh at our Off Grid Cortijo located between Canar and Lanjaron in an area called La Chaparra in the Alpujarras.

We hope you follow us on our journey as we start to live our dream of living Off Grid in a mountainous part of Southern Spain.
